The hottest fashion trends this fall include sleek and stylish sequin embellished fashion dresses. Yes, sequins are back and are now being featured on office attire as well as on formal gowns for the ladies. A sequined dress is the ultimate fashion statement this season so be sure to allow it to be the focal point of your entire look.
The one-shoulder dress with small sequins around the neckline is very much in this year as are mixed prints in skirts and dresses. Jewelry accessories should be gold, silver or transparent and shoes should be rather simple in design to allow the sequins to shine through the entire outfit.
Faux furs are also big this year as are long, chunky sweaters and figure-flattering leggings. To complete these trends, wear womens shoes that are over-the-ankle length and which feature smart buckles and clasps. The Greek-inspired criss-cross over-the-knee boot is also hot this year and looks particularly great with leggings, a long blouse and chunky sweater with a skirt that falls below the knees.
Cashmere sweaters are also back on the scene. Bright and bold is the name of the game with cashmere right now. When a colorful sweater is paired with a pair of chic tight jeans and a winter trench coat, you’ll be looking sporty and ready to face the cool fall winds. Tuxedo jackets are also sure to make a splash and these jackets are the perfect way to show off your feminine appeal. Look for the well tailored and streamlined jackets that accentuates the waist and shoulders while having a deep v-neck. A tuxedo jacket looks incredible when worn with a textured tank top. Add a few mis-matched necklaces or a bold pendant to create a great look. The longer jackets can be worn with black pants and denim while the shorter tuxedo jackets are more limited and should only be worn with denim.
When it comes to formal gowns that are turning heads this fall the word is sophistication. Plunging necklines and tapered waists are hot as are sassy, short gowns that feature bright and vibrant colors. Fushia, turquoise, lime and red are popular color choices as is deep lavender and sage green. To really draw attention with your gown, go with a gold or silver halter style gown complete with matching gloves.
There you have it ladies – this is what’s hot this fall in fashion. Regardless of your budget you should be able to find the best pieces to pull together a great fall wardrobe that tells the world you’ve got great taste!

One of the hottest trends of Fall 2010 is wearing leather. Leather pants in particular have become a must-have. If until now were associated with “bad girl” image, or created an exclusive rock look, now the leather pants, wore in the appropriate shades, create a sensual sexy image. Leather jacket, even if it was trendy in past seasons and trends, designers have now raised the clothes made from this material to a new level.
Collections for fall / winter already presented in the most important fashion festivals brought on the catwalk all sorts of outfits made of leather: pants, shorts, skirts, corsets and even jackets or capes. Furthermore, Hermes has dared and included in his collection the aviator theme including some leather jumpsuits.
Other designers have dared more. Yves Saint Laurent for instance, showed on the catwalk pieces of leather lingerie, corsets and deux-pieces.
How to mix and match?
Nothing completes better leather pants, than a white shirt. Avoid tops with printed leopard and pink ones. In this case simplicity is the key.
Leather pants are a must have, but they cannot be worn by any woman, because:
They are quite expensive, there are very difficult to maintain, most women buy latex pants instead of real leather ones
Because they are so tights, you can get dressed quite difficult, requiring some time
Leather pants fit skinny women because they have the “gift” to highlight any figure flaw
Because they are so tight, they favor the emergence of fungal infections and other infections of this kind.
Leather clothing accessories: massive silver jewelry or steel, and shoes with heels, necessarily very high heels.
The woman who wears leather clothes is by definition a extravagant woman, sexy, confident in her strengths. So, the accessories that complete her outfit should be equally appropriate and eye catching.

Every woman wants to know how to dress fashionably. But understanding what the fashions are of the season can sometimes be difficult and contradictory. Here are some of the probable fashion trends that you will see this fall.
If there was one word to describe this fall it would be ‘trendy’. Women will be all about new accessories to freshen up their wardrobes since the economy is still down. Bold necklines and prints are in so now is the time to check your closet for items that will fit in with these trends. Pencil skirts in bright colors and tops with lots of embellishment will steal attention from the office to the evening. Animal prints never seem to go out of fashion and will definitely make an appearance in many designers’ fall clothing lines.
BIG is another word that describes this fall. It seems that as people’s budgets shrink their jewelry gets larger to compensate. Bangles up the arm, two or three necklaces, cocktail rings, and cuff bracelets will all be in style this fall. Following the rocker chic style of the spring, dark crystals and graphite will add a still edgy but feminine look to many outfits.
The oversized handbag trend will continue as well. Look for celebrities continuing to sport large bags in every style imaginable. Turquoise and Gold are both trendy colors for bags this fall. Silver, although neutral, will be popping up as more and more women realize the crisp sophistication this color imparts to their style. A fancy gray clutch would be a perfect addition to your wardrobe for this fall and winter season.
Fringe is very vogue right now and looks like it will hang around for a while (pun intended). Fringed jackets, shoes, and handbags especially will be popping in neutral colors like gray, beige, black, and white. To totally fit in with the current trends, an animal print (zebra perhaps) handbag with black fringed boots would look marvelous. Remember fashion is all about looking fabulous, being confident in yourself, and having fun!
